New locales need to have in-product pages used by Firefox listed here: http://l10n.mozilla.org/webdashboard/?project=0&task=Firefox+3+in-product+pages Since web pages are a moving target with content and markup changing over time, Pascal will follow up here with the status quo on that.

I am attaching to this bug an archive of html files to translate for the website. Files to translate are: - index.html files - main.lang file Please also provide the following information in the comments of this bug: - your language spelt in your alphabet like: French -> Français - Two strings for the security page: 9 days of risk 284 days of risk These two strings are used in a chart you can see there: http://www.mozilla-europe.org/en/firefox/security/ The html markup should not be modified. Thanks

Since Persian is a right-to-left language, and the current Mozilla.com theme is designed for left-to-right languages, we would need custom styles (and mirrored images in many cases) in order to create a version of the site which looks correct and good for Persian speaking users. I doubt that would require markup changes, but we definitely need customized CSS and image files. Is there any way to *override* the default CSS files for the website and make the changes needed for RTL support? If possible, we need to do this in a broader scope than Persian l10n, so that Hebrew and Arabic localizations can benefit as well.

My plan (if the web designer accepts) is to have a specific rtl css file added for he, fa and ar. We would override in this file rules defined elsewhere to be rtl compatible and would add specific rtl rules if need be. I know that it is long overdue, I just have no time currently to work on a rtl stylesheet and it needs to be coordinated with Steven Garrity since he is in charge of the HTML/CSS for mozilla.com

Does Mr. Garrity have a bugzilla ID which we can use to CC him here? I would be happy to provide help with the RTL design. In fact, I can start working on the whole CSS changes for RTL support. What about the necessary image changes? Note that these changes mostly include mirroring images which are not trademarks, etc.
bug #443636 filed for rtl support on mozilla.com, you are both CCed.
Firstrun page committed in r16755. Translation done by Mana.

All pages are now translated; marking as FIXED. The content needs to be pushed. I've filed bug 490433 for that. I also created the chart for the security page in Persian using The GIMP <https://fa.www-trunk.stage.mozilla.com/img/3-riskdays-security.png>. Moreover, I have made all these pages support the RTL mode via a custom CSS <https://fa.www-trunk.stage.mozilla.com/fa/style/tignish/rtl.css>.
