As mentioned in bug 450038 comment 6 we should wait for a comment by the messaging team where the links should point to.
Is Mozilla Messaging really interested in Thunderbird 2 URLs? We could use this Bug to track/fix the broken Support-URL in Thunderbird 2 (de). Bug 450038 could/should be used to track Support-URL for upcoming Thunderbird 3.
Attachment 331435 [details] [diff] is only re-redirecting the support-URL to the prior used page, before mozilla-world.org redirects were deleted. So we only would fix the temporary broken redirect - nothing else.
