There are still significant differences between https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/describecomponents.cgi?product=SeaMonkey and attachment 213575 [details] - most notably the default QAs that should be watchable addresses and the component descriptions. Someone should go through the list and update those fields accordingly.

I used attachment 213575 [details] and corrected all the components I could match that list against. There are still some definite inconsistencies between what that document gives for new component names versus what the components are named currently. If you want to have some other components renamed, file a new bug and put it on the next reorg wiki page. Also, the following components were not listed on that attachment at all, so I was unable to correct them to what they should be: SeaMonkey :: Error Console SeaMonkey :: Find In Page SeaMonkey :: Location Bar SeaMonkey :: Search SeaMonkey :: Tabbed Browser

Those components were moved over from Core to the SeaMonkey product. I just read through the descriptions and default assignees/QA-contacts, and it all looks good to me for now. The most important thing for me here was to have watchable QA addresses :) Let's call this a fixed bug and handle other things that might come up separately when they come up. just reviewing the list... the requested changes were made here, but don't make much sense to me -- why keep core QA contacts and use seamonkey assignees for these two? Build Config build-config@seamonkey.bugs build-config@core.bugs Installer installer@seamonkey.bugs xpi-packages@installer.bugs privacy/passwords/permissions, this component wasn't renamed as requested because the request ran afoul of some Bugzilla structure, it currently doesn't have "privacy" in the name, but the qa contact is privacy@

sorry, for safety, watching isn't transitive. if all you want to do is make sure that people who watch one watch the other, we can do a onetime update to the watcher lists or send an email to them. i'd rather we not keep the current state because it means people who really only care about the core one can't ignore your bugs.
