In one case, I noticed this behavior, but it seems not to be reproducable: After opening a message into a (new) tab the header is displayed correctly. When switching back to the 3-pane display, there the header is also displayed correctly. When switching to another folder, the subject and date are display incorrectly again. Switching back to the original folder results in a wrong display there, too. The placing of the subject and the date fields are ok in Thunderbird 3.0 beta 3. Reproducible: Always
