To me, this seems like incorrect behavior, since you generally wouldn't change someone else's text. I would prefer it stopped where new text ends, or at least asked if it should continue into that section. Confirming this issue in Tb v8.0 (Linux Version). Btw, as Wayne mentioned, this problem occurs only with 'Spell check as you type' option enabled.
