libero.it is top 1 of our missing domains. https://ispdb.mozillamessaging.com/details/230
username form is full email address, per instruction page. Servers look a bit broken: smtp.libero.it doesn't react to port 587, fails to send "connection refused" for closed ports, reacts to connection on port 25 very slowly. Similarly, to SSL connection attempts, they react with "CONNECTED", but never respond. imapmail and popmail are the same host. All of IMAP, POP and SMTP claim to support CRAM-MD5 (encrypted passwords). None of them support STARTTLS or SSL, from what I could see. Are there maybe other hostnames which support SSL? The instructions page mentions domains inwind.it, iol.it and blu.it. They instruct to use different server names (imapmail.inwind.it), but can imapmail.libero.it also be used? I.e. can we use only one config?

I suppose that the answer is No, but is better to ask to Iacopo because I don't have the chance to test a libero.it account.
I have a libero account if you need some tests. Servers are: imapmail.libero.it, popmail.libero.it, smtp.libero.it but not mail.libero.it (it's the smtp server you need if you want to use libero's smtp with the mail address of an other isp, so we don't need this). various libero.it, inwind.it, iol.it and blu.it are all the same, so we can use just libero.it pop/imap server doesn't support neither starttls nor ssl, while you can check what in Italian is "Utilizza autenticazione cifrata" and I believe the string in English is something like "Use encrypted authentication". imapmail and popmail are the same host, but I think we should use both since it's easier to understand for the final user (and that's why I believe libero did this in the first instance). smtp server doesn't support neither starttls nor ssl, while you can check "use secure authentication". You must use port 25, as 587 won't work. You have to use authentication on the smtp server, too. Auth rights are the same than the pop/imap.

Comment on attachment 434829 [details] libero.it (v1) r=BenB I'm assuming you tested it all: IMAP, POP, SMTP and secure auth with each.

I've tested IMAP and SMTP, not POP (but I'm 99.999% sure it will work).
And I am Murphy :)

Comment on attachment 434829 [details] libero.it (v1) Seems good to me, and I tested the POP3 server using netcat, cause I'm nice that way.
