From bug 569341 (IanN's comment, my reply, his reply): >> With "Forget Global Data", in the Forget tab, it would be useful to have, an >> "All Cookies" option, "All Passwords" option and ones for the various types of >> permissions e.g. images, popups, software, etc > > I have been thinking about this on and off since I created this function. What's this "Forget tab" from comment 0? Otherwise, is bug 678545 a duplicate of this one?
(In reply to Jens Hatlak (:InvisibleSmiley) from comment #1) > What's this "Forget tab" from comment 0? That tab comes up if you either right-click a domain (the "*" one in this particular case) and select the "forget" option or press the DEL key when the domain is active. > Otherwise, is bug 678545 a duplicate of this one? Probably, yes.

Ah. I didn't see this since if I switch to "Cookies only" (which is preselected when using Tools/Cookie Manager/Manage Stored Cookies) there is no "*" domain and thus no "Forget Global Data" context menu entry. I guess this is something that would need to be addressed here, too.
