Post yourself a message with an HTML attachment containing some IMG tags with
TITLE attributes and view it inline. Move the mouse cursor over the image.
Expected result:
A tooltip appears displaying the text from the TITLE attribute.
Actual result:
No tooltip is displayed.

Changing summary to make this bug easier to find in bugzilla (I just marked as
duplicates 4 bugs to this one), adding polish keyword. BTW, this bug was an
annoyance in the creation of the french localized version which has its own mail
start page with lots of acronyms. It may also be related to bug 60245 about
Title attributes in the sidebar tabs.

This might have the same cause as bug 234638: FillInHTMLTooltip isn't included in mail...

No, since what matters is where in the code the bug exists, not what people have mistakenly duped: reopened bug 258608 for Thunderbird, since this was fixed by bug 234638 for SeaMonkey quite a while ago.
