Build ID:
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:2.0b8pre) Gecko/20101111 Firefox/4.0b8pre
It was suggested that I should report this bug on the following location: http://blog.mozilla.com/joe/2010/11/10/fx4b7-hwaccel/
I have a Lenovo Thinkpad T400 using the latest drivers that they provide and I am having several issues with HA enabled.
The issues are the following and happens with HA is enabled:
. Firefox periodically hangs and requires to be restarted. Bug 599661
. Display driver crashes and doesn't recover, this is a major dataloss. Bug
597669.
. UI doesn't repaint correctly since D3D10 was enabled (not reported)
These issues are quite serious and I would therefore recommend to block this driver.

Because of bug 599661, we should probably just block this device/driver combination.

Why was the blocking flag removed? This issue affects every single T400 here in the office.

In bug 597669 comment 19, you pasted an error message that said that your hardware was broken:
*** Hardware malfunction
Call your hardware vendor for support
NMI: Parity check / memory parity error
If that's the case, we don't need to investigate further. Now the fact that you say that every single T400 in your office has the same issue, is worrying. But it could still be that all of them are broken, if they come from the same batch of production.

What about bug 599661? That issue is also quite serious and was reported by somebody else.

Upgrading the driver has solved all the issues mentioned in comment 0.
:)
This still means that this bug is valid though, since it causes dataloss for the old driver.
