Click off of the image and it will reappear. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Load content in editor with an image 2. Click on image to select it. 3. Image has disappeared Actual Results: Invisible image with resize handles Expected Results: Visible image with resize handles

Ben, can you upgrade your XUL runner? The fix for this bug has landed on mozilla-central for quite some time (see bug 599368).

There are no beta 8 Mac XULRunner builds available. In fact now there are no Mac XULRunner builds up: http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/xulrunner/nightly/latest-trunk/ I used the pre-built binaries, I don't build XULRunner myself.
