User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:2.0b12) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0b12 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:2.0b12) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0b12 I recently downloaded the Firefox 4 beta, and I tried reporting it through the built in feedback tab, but that is not possible due to the 140 character limit. If I type a search term in my Firefox, I get the URL posted above (jar:file:///C:/Program%20Files%20%28x86%29/Mozilla%20Firefox%204.0%20Beta%2012/omni.jar!/chrome/en-US/locale/browser-region/region.propertiestest ) My search term was 'test' and is located at the end of that path. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open the broswer (I currently am still on my first time opening it, I love it to much to close it) 2.Type a search term into the address bar Actual Results: The actual error I get its: File not found Firefox can't find the file at jar:file:///C:/Program Files (x86)/Mozilla Firefox 4.0 Beta 12/omni.jar!/chrome/en-US/locale/browser-region/region.propertiestest. Expected Results: In previous versions, it would look for a site that was the closest related to whatever a type it, and go to that site. Hopefully this makes sense, if you have any questions feel free to email me about it at skedog81@yahoo.com or chase@thewebguys.com
