Any update here? I just found this slave enabled in slavealloc, but was unable to connect to delete the registry keys for bug 682628 (I've disable it now).

Can we get R3 Machines repaired anymore?
According to apple's web site, that machine was a mid to late 2009 model, and since we get applecare, that means that it should still be covered under the 3 year plan, I believe. Bring the machine back and hand it off to desktop for repair.

I've spoken to WeFixMacs about drive replacements on these machines. http://allmac.com If it's more than replacing drives or RAM, I wonder if it's going to be worth the cost.

I got this back from wefixmacs, the logic board needs to be replaced which is not cost effective.
this machine should be decom'd instead then.
