We have vectors as well as dense arrays (and maybe monotyped arrays, by and by) but the sorting code still calls getUintProperty to extract individual atom elements to sort. Many special and important cases (eg sorting numeric arrays numerically) could probably be made much faster.
Tamarin is a dead project now. Mass WONTFIX.
