So in looking up other information on the HP website I found. http://h20565.www2.hp.com/portal/site/hpsc/template.PAGE/public/psi/mostViewedDisplay/?sp4ts.oid=5075933&spf_p.tpst=psiContentDisplay&spf_p.prp_psiContentDisplay=wsrp-navigationalState%3DdocId%253Demr_na-c03011446%257CdocLocale%253Den_US&javax.portlet.begCacheTok=com.vignette.cachetoken&javax.portlet.endCacheTok=com.vignette.cachetoken To quote in partial: "The SATA Hard Drive firmware update listed below is considered a critical fix and is required to prevent certain SATA Hard Drive models from experiencing a potential data transfer issue." And this is listed as affecting DLG120 G7 series The only production services on these (that I know) so far, is B2G builds.
I fired up the raid utility on one of the relabs machines, but it doesn't find any controllers. Not sure if we didn't get one or not, but we're using drive model VB0160EAVEQ so this does not apply to us, anyway.
