This it's the same as 833291, due to when going from Contacts to SMS, it's not working due to getMessages from gecko.

I cannot reproduce with the 2013-01-29 build on my unagi. My contact has the fully-internationalized number (+1-416-<my #>). In my case I didn't have my # in a contact but had used it while testing the SMS app. I then added it to my contact entry and pressing the text button next to that number showed all previous messages.

Tested it again, Unagi 2013-01-30 build My steps: 1. open Messages app => send SMS to a Test # 1-area code-XXX-XXXX 2. open Contacts app => create new contact for Test # 1-area code-XXX-XXXX 3. select this contact in the contacts list 4. tap text icon next to a number to start new SMS My result * An empty message thread is started Expected: * Thread is launched and populated with previous messages Reproduces 100% on 2 unagi devices
