User Story:
As I user, I am given the option of sending an MMS message to a contact (or recipient address) with video attached after a video capture has been completed, for the purpose of easily sharing that video via an MMS message.

Should we have size limitation(ex.595~600KB) and the quality(ex. QCIF) for the video attached in MMS?

Rick, was a certain limitation on size put in place?  I tried sending a 1 second video captured by the video camera and it complained about the size being too large.

Dale was working on this a bit during the taipei workweek (the video capture for mms being so large) -- Did we ever figure out why the first frame of the video was 500k?

Yup, when attaching videos it will default to low res

IIRC, the size limitation for an MMS video attachment is 1MiB, which is why we dropped the capture resolution to QCIF. I don't know enough about the encoding to to explain why a 1-frame video would be 500KiB.

Do we have a video file that shows this issue?
