Xprint module (2001-06-10-08-trunk+patch from bug 57820) does not print colored text in the example URL. The text "This sentence is green" should appear in "green" - but it doesn't change the color... ;-( I'll attach the example output...

Summary: Xprint module does not print colored text → print module does not print colored text
I get the same problem with native PostScript module. Reassining... I'll attach a postscript output from native PS module...
I tried printing various colors on moz 0.9.2 (Build ID 2001062815) on Win98. I used the following colors set by CSS: *darkkhaki, *tan, #ee8, red, #ffc, blue, #fee, green, #dff, *brown, #eee, purple, grey, and gray (yes I know, strange color choices). Even the ones not defined by CSS2 (with an *) rendered properly on screen, but only blue and purple printed. Everything else was a rather dark gray, almost, but not quite black. However, when I tried the same colors as a background color instead of foreground color, they _all_ printed properly. I have yet to test other colors besides these ones I listed here. Could this be related to the fact that my links are set to the (default) blue, and visited links are purple? The pref to use the web page's colors and not mine is set correctly, though....

so.. do colors work.. its just not coming out the color that is described reporter.. or are you saying colors dont work at all.
this is by design. bug 79477 tells what we did to keep text readable, so we did this on purpose. The PS does have all the code to print color.. just keeps it from printing to light. In the future we would like have a setting.

It would be nice to have an option to enable/disable this feature...
