When I open one of the news messages (new window!) and follow the hyperlinks included by clicking on them, the pages associated with the hyperlink open up my webbrowser (FFox). Sofar, no problem. Now when I select another hyperlink in the same message or close this news message, TB most of the time crashes, closing all windows and _not_ delivering a crash report. This happens even in "safe mode" without any add-ons enabled. Actual results: TB crashes most of the time. Expected results: Either follow the other hyperlink or simply close the message window only, not all of TB's windows.

Thanks for testing also in safe mode. Please attach file to this bug with results from https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/How_to_get_a_stacktrace_with_WinDbg - in the instructions in all places substitute Thunderbird where you see Firefox.
