The keyboard need form navigation of some sort. 

Example:

in the First Time run, choose to import addressbook from Google.

When presented with the Google login page, enter the "email address". Then the logical followup is to press "return". But it does not work as this validate the form instead of going to the next field / dismissing the keyboad.

This probably need some UX design for the various cases, but this one is annoying.

There are lots of related issues for dissmissing keyboard or something.(Bug 859314) However, this further describe another function that we shold go to next field in some way.

UX will address this after completing leo+, tef+ and tracking-b2g18+ bugs, which are the top UX priorities right now.

Hi Neo, as discussed, this is an issue that should be tackled after 1.2. As I mentioned in my notes: "The original keyboard specification suggested that the "New Line" key should be contextual in forms (see page 2 of the attached spec), so that when a field is highlighted within a form, the "New Line" key should change to "Next" if there is a next field, or "Submit" to submit the form when the last field in the form is highlighted. In general, I think these would be good changes to make, but perhaps instead of "Submit" the key should be "Done" and just dismiss the keyboard to prevent the user accidentally sending forms that aren't complete. "

Yes, I've noticed this issue since my first try of our device. 
We've came out a spec for better form filling experience. So hang in there! It might be implemented on 1.3 or 1.4. :-)

I'm not sure when we will implement this, but not in 2.2 as I know.
