We can't do pref overriding to test Balrog on Fennec. Since Cedar is already being used for various RelEng things, it seems like it's a good place to do this testing. Need to: 1) Enable nightlies in the buildbot-configs 2) s/aus2.mozilla.org/aus4-dev.allizom.org/ in the repo.

Pushed https://hg.mozilla.org/projects/cedar/rev/a97fb2f3f664to flip the update server. Will kick a nightly after the next reconfig.

Need this to make these updates work... The diff looks a little funny, but all I've done is move the balrog_api_root check to __init__ and dedent the addSubmitBalrogUpdates method.

Comment on attachment 762011 [details] [diff] [review] allow balrog submission without snippets Turns out that there was a reason that Balrog was part of addUpdateSteps - it depends on completeMarSize being set, which happens in addCreateSnippetSteps. Backing this out, and I'll just turn on create_snippet for Cedar (and only for Android, if that's possible).

dump master seems to show me what I would expect for this.
