Details
Steps to reproduce:
1) Go to youtube.com in the browser
2) Press the search button
3) Type a search
4) Press one of the autocomplete options
5) Choose a search result
6) Press the search button again
Result: Keyboard does not display, but search box is focused
Expected: Keyboard should display

Confirmed. I think I've seen this happen in the browser as well, although the STR you've given is more consistent to reproduce this. There might be a bug on this already though - let me check.

After looking at the associated dupes for bug 889138, I'm pretty sure this is a dupe of bug 889138, so I'm duping. Reopen if I'm wrong.

We should block on this. The keyboard (in general), but definitely on a prominent app needs to consistently be displayed when the user needs it.
