Details |
Non localized strings for youtube
STR:
1. Set the device language to "portuguese"
2. Open youtube application or in browser and check the strings.
Expected:
All the strings should be properly localized.
Actual:
Many strings are not localized.

HI. This is a server side issue. We have been working with YT on certification for devices as highest priority with the understanding that this will be fixed in before launch but not immediately critical. Given that this is a server side fix, has the priority changed?

YouTube is working this now as their highest priority of our Bugs. They report that this is not unique to FFOS and they are working to resolve.

Update from YT: Majority of fixes went live on Sept 19. Some additional fixes going live on Sept 24. Ready for review. Jaime, can you make arrangements for a Portuguese speaker to review?
