I think this is probably a per-host check?

How easily can we create per-host checks? It would be great to add them for slaves created as loaner machines as well.
Blocks: re-nagios
Do we have the ability to action this ourselves, or should this be an IT bug?
I don't think we can action this ourselves - I filed it here to figure out what we needed to do first.
We have the aws sanity check emails that go out daily. Is that insufficient here?
What's lacking with those e-mails is the ability to ack and/or have downtime. They're very difficult to process compared with Nagios alerts. It certainly makes this less urgent though, in my opinion.
Do we still need something like this?
