The patch has been pushed as a PR. Progress in the comments. TBD: 1. Write & modify tests 2. Ask QA for test as much as possible RIL cases 3. UX experiments about the 'performance'. Maybe we need some double-buffering like tricks I would check the patch again and set feedback first.

Comment on attachment 8569682 [details] [gaia] snowmantw:bug962409 > mozilla-b2g:master Per discussion offline, we agreed it is no longer worthy of the risk of regression to get this landed, given the upcoming UI changes of the phone will likely change the lock screen into some other forms. The Stream/Process libraries are good inventions and we should find somewhere else to re-purpose it.
