Actual results:
often in several ocasions some tasks cannot be done because:
"the operation failed because another operation is using the folder"

Can you give an example of an action where you have seen "the operation failed ..."
Component: Untriaged → Backend

Product: Thunderbird → MailNews Core
I had it several times already. Am not certain when it happened, but I think it sometimes happens, When you press "sync/work offline" and while you do that in the background, you try to compress a folder. (I have many large imap folders in my thunderbird, so it takes some time to sync every folder)
The reason of this bug is, that I do not know which folder TB means, when it hapens, otherwise I would be able to tell, when.
Can't you just look through the sourcecode, where this message is generated and add a folder name there?

Following error is now consistently reproducible. See Bug 1110577. Thanks a lot to Bug 1106225 :-)
> ! The operation failed because another operation is using the folder.
> Please wait for that operation to finish and then try again.
Needless to say, "Which account's which folder" is usully needed in error message in any environment.

Seems sad that we don't identify the folder. Might need account name + folder name? https://searchfox.org/comm-central/search?q=operationFailedFolderBusy&redirect=false
Can someone put up a patch?
