As a result of Haida changes, including the status bar search field, there is less space to display icons in the status bar. As a result, the icons need to be prioritized and an overflow scenario must be in place.

I dont see it blocking this bug at all, sure I filed it but cant find it anymore, but it seems like one easy and major improvement would be to only show the 'missing sim' icon when there is no icon at all, rather than show it permanently on a device with dual sim slots where one is taken

Jorge, could you have your team examine this implementation (take a look at the priorities in the UX spec, https://mozilla.box.com/s/tu5wlt6z385dh44kr5my) to make sure we don't need to adjust icon priorities?
