This issue is verified as fixed on Firefox 68.0a1 (20190505213908) under Win 7 64-bit and Mac OS X 10.14.1.

This doesn't seem like a good candidate for late 67 uplift. Let me or Pascal know if you intend otherwise please.
Also, can you suggest a release note for this for 68?

There's a release note prepared for the updated HTML about:addons version. I see it in some meeting notes from April 16, but I'll confirm that it got to the right place.
