- Disable
Update Add-ons Automatically
. - Have older versions of extensions installed.
Check for Updates
.- Click on
Available Updates
category.
The Install Updates
button that allowed all listed updates to be installed at the click of a button is no longer available in the new HTML about:addons
. Now the user has to update each extension manually by opening each menu and clicking Update
. This may be a very tedious and time consuming process for users with many addons.

(fixing up dependencies, I'll let Mark triage this bug).
The add-on card does not support a checkbox UI. So there is no straightforward way for the user to selectively include/exclude an add-on in the update list.

Wontfix? Installing updates manually is quite cumbersome now.
I disabled automatic updates due to frequent regressions and breakages of several addons: it'd rather check and review manually the changes before installing each update.
Please reconsider.

Wontfix for Firefox 68 doesn't mean that it won't be fixed in Firefox 69 (or later). Firefox 68 will be released in five days and the first RC is already built. No patch is written yet and it has to be tested, so it's not really possible to fix it in time for Firefox 68. I don't think that this issue severe enough to justify a delay of Firefox 68 - especially since updating add-ons is still possible, it's "only" an annoyance.

In the meantime, you can disable the new addons page by toggling the following preference in about:config
extensions.htmlaboutaddons.enabled

Happy to take a patch for 70 or beyond.
Since we are getting close to the end of the 69 beta cycle and this is set to P3, I'm marking it fix-optional for 69 and 70 to remove it from weekly triage.
