The marketing team is looking to use the What's New Page in Firefox 90. The WNP was meant to be turned off for Fx89, however, remain kept on for future releases.

The marketing team is considering this as urgent - is there a workaround to turn on the WNP behaviour on the server side.

Just a flag that the link above is specific to the en-US audience (different versions of this page are shown to different audiences, depending on language).

I do not know specifically how this works, but whatever the behavior/system/trigger was for 88 and earlier should be back in place for 90.

Marketing team considers this to be an urgent issue. Today is release, and tomorrow will be the highest traffic potential day for this page.

I think we need to immediately look at adding the WNP into the Fx 90.0 release blob. This may need a signoff from relman and/or 2nd releng. Looking at who's available, given that it's past EST and well past European day time, and RyanVM is PTO.

At a less hurried pace, we need to back out https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/attachment.cgi?id=9212419 of nightly, beta, release.
