An example:
If I search for "PicLens" in the Get Add-ons search field within the Add-ons manager, the only result shown is for "Cooliris Previews".
There is a little "See all results (2)" link below the single featured hit, but...
A) If there are only 2 search results, they should both be displayed in the search results list; "See all results (n)" should only be used if there are too many results, and while "too many" is subjective, I think it's safe to say that "too many" > 2.
B) If someone's search string is the exact name of an available add-on, that add-on should be among the featured results. I'd even go out on a limb and say that result should be presented first in the list.
C) Both "Cooliris Previews" and "PicLens" have five-star ratings and over 100 reviews. Along similar lines as item A above, highly rated add-ons that have a significant number of reviews should almost never be excluded from the search results list like this. They should be presented front-and-center as being among the best add-ons available, as decided by the reviewing community.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Navigate to Tools-->Add-ons-->Get Add-ons.
2. Type "PicLens" (without the quotes) into the search field at the top of the window.
Actual Results:
The only featured search result (with screenshot, rating, description, and "Add to Firefox..." button) is "Cooliris Previews". The add-on named "PicLens" is only accessible through the "See all results (2)" text link, which opens a new browser tab for further navigation.
Expected Results:
PicLens should be listed among the featured search resutls.

I expect you already had piclens installed. We do not display results for add-ons you already have. I'm moving this over to the AMO product for the other search issues.

I do not have PicLens already installed. I have attached an image showing the (short) list of extensions I have installed, and the PicLens behavior (little 'play' button overlay on element mouse-over) is not apparent on the random Flickr page I just tried.

Is it proper to move this bug to a different product than where Bug 414664 lives?

Sorry, didn't notice you were on OSX. Piclens is not available on OSX so we do not display it in the search results, intentionally, that is not a bug.

The PicLens listing at addons.mozilla.org appears to disagree (attached another image), and I installed it on the girlfriend's MacBook this past weekend (FF3RC3).

Kevin, the duplicate bug is scheduled to be fixed in the next release of the API (about two weeks).
