Turning on dom.ipc.plugins.enabled breaks Flash on linux mozilla-central.
(I haven't tried it on Windows.)
Is this a known problem?

Have you filed a specific bug? It works for most people, in general.

Works under Linux for me fine, unless I try to use Flashblock -> bug 544153

I should have given a specific example, sorry: go to www.npr.org and click
on "Hourly News". It looks like it's going to work, but then it hangs forever
while trying to load an ad banner from a third-party server.
Disabling the dom.ipc.plugins fixes the hang.
