Now that we're intending to implement Move/Delete/Open operations from the search messages results pane, I'm loggin this bug to track the decision on whether we'll implement a context menu in the results pane. Communicator 4.x had a context menu with items: Open Message, Move Message, Copy Message, Delete Message (not enabled for news)

Well, it would be nice to have this Comm 4.x feature back. But what i am missing more is the "Go to message folder". Was a very handy feature for newsgroup searches to get to the appropiate thread with only one click - not possible anymore, as the results window does not do threading either...

It should be possible to select one or multiple messages in the search messages dialog and perform *any* operation that is also possible from the regular window (e.g., reply, edit as new, move, copy, label, mark, save, print, delete, even watch thread). Having to create a Search Folder just to e.g., Label=Important a group of messages is too many steps (and the Search Flder then likely needs to be deleted. Too many steps. BTW: Is there an equivalent Thunderbird bug? Could we reassign this one to "Core"? (it might get more "traction" if "both" groups see it)
