Details

This is a task supported already in production but not yet in-tree scheduled, pending Ship-it v2 roll-out to production; available on maple only. Follow-up API check to ensure the release has indeed now a “Started” state. Baked within the initial call in shipitscript.
Patches to this bug have been taken along in bug 1470228.
FWIW - PR to enable this validation lies within https://github.com/mozilla-releng/shipitscript/pull/10
Patches and rolling out to production happened along the way in the same bug 1470228. This is fixed now too. Changes rolled-out to production. Closing this now. Will-reopen if we need to fix anything or add more stuff.
