Details

This is becoming important for us to support. I'd like to experiment a bit with the VM and JIT side of this so we have a better idea what's needed here.

We want to support >= 4 GB on 64-bit platforms. We can add a shell flag and use that to raise the limit to 64 GB or so (an artificial limit we can then bump easily if needed).
